Sixteen-year old city student Leena Thawani has bagged the Monash University International Merit Scholarship, Melbourne, Australia of AUD 10,000 per year, a total of AUD 40,000, over the next four years.
The college campus at Palakalur village on the outskirts of the city was glittered with the presence of over 5000 girl students from different engineering colleges and universities across the state.
